What is true love? True love to me is patient, kind, and loving. We have this with our children and grandchildren, pets and if you are very lucky a romantic relationship.
But what is not true love is verbal, physical or sexual abuse. I’ve experienced all of it in my past and much younger. Don’t ever stay in a relationship with someone who treats you that way. We all deserve so much better than that. I don’t talk about it in detail anymore or even think about it. I’ve become a very strong woman since then and no longer tolerate even verbal abuse. I’ve walked away from men I dated, women who said they were friends and even some family members who decided they were going to be controlling, argumentative and verbally abusive. I can honestly say I don’t miss any of them and very happy that in my life now I’m surrounded by positive loving kind people! Always remember God loves each of us with so much love and wants the best kind of happiness and love for each of us!
I recently met the love of my life! He’s so very patient, kind ,loving and makes me laugh! We all need people in our lives like that! Life isn’t easy all the time. We face storms in our lives but after the storms comes the sunshine and another day to find joy and happiness in our lives! To me it’s the little things that mean so much! Spending time with my daughter and grandchildren, spending time laughing and having fun with my boyfriend and even everyday petting my two cats and watching them wrestle and chase each other! Hearing from a close family member or friend just really finding something everyday to be positive and happy about!
Everyday find that true love! Be that true love to someone else! And as always be very kind and loving to yourself because we are all human and need true love!
