It’s so important for us to get a good nights sleep so our bodies are ready for the next day. I was having trouble sleeping so I decided to try something I had heard works. That something is a white noise sound machine! And it’s amazing how much better I sleep now! I got mine for free through my insurance catalog of things I can get with money they allow me every 3 months. But Amazon has them between 10-25 dollars. You don’t need an expensive one. There’s different sounds on it and it takes a few nights to get use to. What it does is train your mind that when it hears this sound each night it means it’s time for sleep. I leave mine on all night and it drowns out anymore noise.
Also good to go to sleep at the same time every night and get up roughly the same time each morning. Don’t sleep too much or too little. Most people function best on at least 8 hours of sleep.
Make sure to sleep when it’s dark and block the light out of the bedroom.
Invest in super comfortable bedding and covers so you’re extra comfortable when you sleep.
Cut out caffeine by a certain time each day so you’re not stimulated at night.
Read or do something besides screen time before you go to sleep.
These are some of the things I do to get a good nights sleep each night.
Getting good sleep is vital to our overall health and wellbeing.
