I got sick over Christmas and also had a medical emergency. But feeling much better now. I will work on writing everyday.
It’s the New Year! It means we also have a new beginning! We all started thinking about what we want to accomplish this year. I’m sure I’m not alone in saying that in the past I’ve set too many goals and didn’t accomplish them. So now I’m being more realistic and I encourage all of you to make only a few goals for this
- Make a financial goal for the year. Focus on paying off debt and saving for big purchases like a new to you used car and maintenance for it also.
2. Make a Family Goal. This is something you sit down with your family and make a goal for a vacation each year to different places to learn new things and live life to the fullest!
Calculate the cost and how many months until your vacation begins This way you know how much money to save each month.
3. Individual Goals. This should be a personal goal. Each family member even children should have a goal for the year. A good one is to decide how many books you want to read this year. Then make a list of the books. Ask family and friends names of books they enjoyed to put on your list. Then make a chart so you can see your progress at the end of the year.
1. To begin write each goal down and put somewhere you see each day.
2. Set short and long term goals.
3. Make each goal measurable. For instance don’t put I want to lose weight. Instead say I want to eat healthier foods this year . I want to exercise 3 times a week.
4. Set goals that motivate you! Make each goal a positive goal and very realistic and reachable.
5. Adjust your goals as necessary throughout the year.
6. Reward yourself with each goal reached.
We have a blank page to accomplish things in 365 days. Make it a fantastic ending.
