This is an amazing short book written by Anne Morrow Lindbergh, Charles Lindberghs wife. I was given this book to read as an assignment from one of my female college professors at Texas Woman’s University where I got my bachelor degree in Family Studies. I feel every woman should read this book! She talks about her marriage, peace and contentment. She talks about how modern tools we use now can take away from finding our peace and contentment. She uses analogies of the sea to express herself. I found after reading it that it made me feel better as a woman and our relationship with others and our world. It changed my life in so many ways reading it. It’s an older book but definitely worth reading and it’s a short book that you won’t want to put down once you start reading it! You can find it on Amazon but also at thrift book stores cheaper. It’s one you will want to read again and again! She passed away at the age of 94 in 2001.
