Christy Wright use to work for Dave Ramsey. She’s a wonderful author! She has written a book on how to start your own business. And I was privileged to meet Christy in person and Dave Ramsey Conference. At the time I had two business ideas of doing both at the same time but she gave me excellent advice on focusing only on one business of my own so I chose my blog since I love writing and wanted to reach as many people as possible. I’ve always loved helping people.
Christy is married with 3 young children so she’s a super busy woman! But this book is my favorite of hers and changed my life ! Finding balance in our lives as mom Dads grandparents or even as a single person is so important. In this book you will identify what balance looks like in your unique situation and season. Find confidence in the choices that are right for you. Feel peace even during chaotic times. Be present for your life and actually enjoy it!
She points out saying no is important but not only what is important. I started really looking at my life and cutting out anything that distracted me from what is important and mostly important to me is keeping my peace in my life. That also meant for me especially since December 2023 when I had several rapid firing seizures in one day rushed to the hospital and finally got the right diagnosis of epilepsy gran mal seizures and I go unconscious. They said I have to keep my stress down or I could have another seizure. So I’ve worked on that a lot walking away from people or things that caused me stress and finding more balance energy and peace. It’s important to all of us as humans to keep our stress down and find that balance and Christys book is excellent and she has questions at the end of every chapter for us to think about and write down ideas from those thoughts that can help us focus and find that peace and happiness in our lives no matter what situation season your in life right now. It’s important we focus every day on what is the most important things in our lives. Finding time alone each day for just 30 minutes even can do wonders for us as well as spending time together with our family and friends.
I have trouble going to sleep at night a lot so I’ve been writing my articles for the next day before I go to sleep. It helps me unwind and I love my new article is there the next day for each of you to read.
I love to read books it’s another thing I’ve done my whole life that helps me relax and enjoy myself. Find those hobbies to enjoy on a regular basis. Find happiness in your life and enjoy life! Read Christy’s book. You will be so happy you did! Find balance in your life each day!
